Steven Ludwig

Assistant Engineer

Steven is an accomplished musician, songwriter, and avid recording engineer. Steven initially was a client of Power Station and enjoyed the studio so much, he decided to become a permanent part of the team!

    Bio

Steven has had an obsession with music starting as far back as he can remember. This obsession quickly grew into a passion for writing, playing, and recording. His musical journey began by playing in different local bands which lead him to make records in his home recording space. After attending Broward College for Recording Arts, and outgrowing the home recording environment, Steven found a home at Power Station where he continues to grow and hone his skills.

    Notable Work

Live Sound Engineer for several local artists, his own band as well as the Chief Live Sound Engineer at the Christ Community Church.

As one of the primary writers for “That Band Rumors”, he wrote, recorded, and co-produced their first EP which was mixed here at Power Station. Steven and his band are currently planning their tour schedule.

Steven began building a touring rig for his band to accommodate the modern abilities to sync playback, in-ear monitoring, and FOH mix lines – all packaged into a single all-contained portable rig. Other touring acts quickly noticed his rig and began contracting him to build custom rigs for their live tours.

He has earned his audio engineering certification and will soon complete his Associate of Science degree in Music Technology.

Steven is currently the Worship Leader and Chief Live Sound Engineer for Christ Community Church in Pompano Beach, FL. For over a decade, he has served the congregation with his musical talents including as a vocalist, bassist, and guitarist.
