Founder of Power Station Studios, Pompano Beach, Rob’s focus, in addition to managing the studio’s daily operations, is producing artists, mixing, and mastering. His favorite quote: “If I’m not having fun, I don’t wanna be here!”

    Bio

    Touring musician turned recording engineer & producer. Rob has produced records with legendary producers & engineers like Tony Bongiovi, Ron Saint Germain, and Charlie Calello with artists such as Scott Stapp (Creed), T-Pain (Sony Music), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden), Jesse James Dupree (Jackyl, TruTV’s Full Throttle Saloon), Morgan Rose & John Connolly (SevenDust), Joey Kramer (Aerosmith), Doug Lubahn (the Doors, Billy Squier, Pat Benatar), George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Kenny Olsen (Kid Rock), Deana Martin, The Four Seasons, The Philly Pops Orchestra as well as audio for TV and movie production such as MTV’s Road Rules, NBC’s “The Voice,” CBS’s “Undercover Boss” and various feature films.

    Over the past decade, Rob has earned numerous gold and platinum records. He has dedicated much of his time producing and engineering a plethora of up-and-coming local artists such as Shayne Leighton (Sepctra Music Group), Grin Cynic (Metal Music Group), Day 4, One, Git Fresh (Island/Def Jam), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Jersey Boys) and numerous others.

    Other Notable Work

    In 2001, Rob designed and built Power Station Recording Studios in Pompano Beach, FL. He adapted the same acoustical design pioneered by Tony Bongiovi at the legendary Power Station Studios in New York City. Power Station in Pompano Beach recently celebrated their 20th anniversary.

    In 2002, Rob co-ventured to help develop and launch Bongiovi Acoustic Labs whose technology today accounts for over 45 patents and has technology licensed into several markets including automotive, marine, aviation, consumer electronics, and medical applications.

    His expertise in audio and acoustics was recruited by the Government of China to consult on their government-controlled broadcast TV network (GGEC) and develop a world class process to deliver true surround mixing on their government broadcast networks for their live top rated hit TV shows

    Rob was a contributing author for the published medical study: “Non-Pharmacologic Pain Management Among Hospitalized Inpatients using VR” where his audio expertise contributed to a process where immersive audio was used for pain management and VR distraction therapies. He is also participating in a study using audio and sound to treat Alzheimer’s patients.
