Studio Recording: A Studio Legacy
Power Station Studios brings a 45-year legacy of awarded recording excellence to South Florida. In 2022, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the first session in this facility, Power Station Studios in Pompano Beach continues to uphold the “Power Station” tradition of studio recording.
We bring world-class, record-label quality commercial recording to the backyard of South Florida’s creative community. Our clients range from local to label and consumer to corporation. Power Station delivers the best in modern recording that accommodates all styles and genres for all types of recording projects.
Power Station maintains two fully-featured recording studios to meet the needs of almost every recording project. From a large “live” room to accommodate bands, string sections, horn sections, and even choirs to our newly renovated Studio B, which features the most modern hybrid digital and analog formats available today.
Power Station offers various recording platforms, including industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools Ultimate®, Ableton®, Logic Pro X®, and more. Our fully equipped studio facilities are designed to meet the most demanding recording session needs.
Studio A:
Studio A is centered around one of the world’s most sought out Super-Analogue/Large Format consoles, the Rupert Neve 9098i by Amek. A 72-channel frame with 160+ inputs on mix surrounded by an enormous selection of modern and vintage outboard gear. Powered by the latest Pro Tools Ultimate HDX system with several choices in playback monitoring.
The “Live Room” in Studio A is large enough to comfortably accommodate a live band, string section, horn section, or rhythm section. Our 17-foot ceilings allow us to achieve that legendary “Power Station Sound easily”!
Studio B:
Studio B is the consummate combination of “In-The-Box” digital and analog production. This room delivers the best of both worlds. Also powered by the latest Pro Tools HDX system, this room adopts a sophisticated analog summing interface so the digital world can interface with the analog world in a seamless and productive fashion. Fully furnished with an impressive list of modern and vintage outboard gear, including full API, NEVE, and SSL options for maximum stylistic flexibility. Studio B also offers multiple playback monitoring choices.
Studio B offers a custom-designed isolation lock/vocal room that delivers the flexibility and energy of a “live studio” in a smaller, more comfortable, and intimate surroundings.
Power Station is operated and run by top engineering staff. Each engineer is “Power Station Certified” and has extensive experience in the recording industry. Our engineering team is dedicated to delivering the most efficient, comfortable, and productive environment possible.
